The Best Sheets - Recommended by you!

A few weeks ago I decided I needed new sheets so I asked my Instagram friends for recommendations and you all delivered. Here they are in no particular order:

  • Under the Canopy. If these came in a color that worked with my existing bedding I would be ordering these. Mostly because I like the mission of the company. Which is: We make beautiful, affordable, authentic products that make the earth — and every room in your home-safer, healthier, & more stylish. It aligns with my goal to live more sustainably at home. They also offer free shipping which is a must for me when shopping online.
  • Bedsure 100% Viscose from Bamboo Sheets. I will most likely be getting these. They were recommended by my niece who I adore. We also have very similar taste when it comes to things for our home. Bonus points for the sweet price point and coming in a color that works with my existing bedding.
  • Right Point Linen. More than a few of you are raving fans of these sheets. This is another company that's committed to crafting premium quality products using only the finest sustainable and non-toxic materials available. The fog gray may work with my existing bedding but I'm still trying to decide. What I am sold on is the Second Point Blanket. It's so pretty and perfect for this time of the year. If you're interested in placing an order a follower shared the following discount code with me: Welcome20. It's good until June 30, 2022 and it will work for everyone!
  • Brook Linen. I feel like the whole internet is in love with these sheets and they apparently think so too. It says so right there on their website: Meet the Internet’s Best Sheets. Their classic core set starts at $125 and goes up from there. I really like this duvet cover but then again I hate duvet covers. I know I'm probably the only person on this planet who hates duvets but they're just way to fussy for me. I like the simplicity of a comforter.
  • The Citizenry. OK full disclaimer here I splurged and ordered these and I loved them so I can see why you do too. Except the fitted sheet didn't last and they were too expensive not to last. (I'm cheap.) It kind of wore out like a well loved t-shirt and then ripped. To be fair we're still using the flat sheet and my oldest is using the pillow cases. I'm also a huge fan of their customer service, they were amazing. It had been awhile so they gave me a credit which I'm sure they thought I would use to replace the fitted sheet but by this point I was over it so I got the cutest set of cocktail glasses instead. Fast forward a few years later and I did go back to get the fitted sheet and I'm so happy I did.
  • Parachute. These sheets are made in Europe using only the finest fabrics, they’re Oeko-Tex certified for healthy sleep. Which if you're like me you have no idea what that means so I looked it up. Oeko-Tek is made up of 17 different research and test institutes in Europe and Japan who help consumers and companies make sustainable decisions that are good for mother earth. I really like that a brand is standing behind their claims and plan to spend a little more time shopping on their site.
  • Threshold from Target. I purchased a set of these for my son and I do love them. I have a friend who swears by them and she has great taste but I don't think they're consistent. I recently purchased another set and they're not the same. Maybe these have to be broken in for ultimate comfort. Either way they're not bad for the price point and they have a great selection of colors and patterns to chose from.
  • Hotel Sheets 100% Bamboo. Here's one more set of Bamboo sheets to chose from. These are also available on Amazon. Bamboo sheets are natural wicking and cooling which appeals to me since I sleep with a hot sleeper. I on the other hand can never have enough blankets.

And there you have it, 8 really great and tested by someone other than me sheet recommendations. I hope you enjoyed this post and if you have any additional recommendations it's not too late to share.

From all of us at Matt Engen Group thanks for reading.
